Should the nebulizer cup still contain saline after 18 minutes of nebu

@bearsmom91 Yes, it is definitely normal to have about 1ml of solution - whether saline, albuterol. or other meds left in the cup after nebulizing. The companies know this, so the total amount in each ampule is calculated to give you the dosage you need.
If more than that is left, try changing the angle of the mouthpiece so more is picked up and nebulizesd.

@sueinmn Thank you very much, Sue. Your information is very helpful to me. After 8 1/2 months of using the nebulizer and percussion vest 2x/day I am able to take a full, deep breath. I noticed more residual saline after switching nebulizer cups a couple of weeks back. Thanks so much for your reply. I feel better about this.
