Megace sounds like an interesting choice. I had depo-provera Shots every 3 months and it really helped reduce my hot flashes.
Others have mentioned Oxybutynin Which doesn’t seem to have as serious possible side effects as Megace
Megace seems to have some side effect issues.
Megace (megestrol acetate) is an effective treatment for hot flashes caused by hormone suppression therapy in prostate cancer patients, with studies showing an up to 85% reduction in frequency.
