@colleenyoung Testosterone is the "fuel" for prostate cancer. It's what causes the cancer to grow. That's why hormone therapy for prostate cancer involves stopping the production of testosterone by the testicles, either through medication or orchiectomy. This being the case, why would you recommend a supplement that might increase testosterone levels and cause the cancer to spread?

@teeray, oh heaven's I apologize if my post appeared to recommend the use of a supplement. That was not my intention. I posted links to related discussions and information about Saw Palmetto potentially increasing testosterone, which is NOT good for men with prostate cancer. Research about its use for other conditions is inconclusive.
