@jgshoes, I feel that this would be a very difficult thing to do, also the side effects from withdrawal would be overwhelming for you. I understand your frustration with medication because I’m experiencing similar issues but I would never try this without the help from my doctor, both medications have to be weaned from and doing so at the same time could cause you harm, I understand depression and it can lead to poor choices, I too am trying a new antidepressant and the side effects are awful, I’ve come close to quitting them but I’m desperate for relief so I’ll give it some time, eventually I’ll stop if it doesn’t improve soon. If neither Paxil and Mirtazapine are not working then get help for proper withdrawal and then try something else, it’s a tedious process and not easy to deal with along with depression but I’m hopeful that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, best of luck with your journey.

Thank you for the thoughtful reply. My days are very difficult and sleep seems to be the best remedy. However, waking up from mirtazapine is a lloonngg process with lots of stumbling. I just started the 25 of paxil 1 week ago. I guess patience is in order here. Good luck on your journey.
