Yes, the ascites is bad, in fact I have an appointment Friday to have it removed. I feel pretty bad today so sorry if I am slow getting back to you. This too shall pass. My brother is taking me and I told him I might squeeze his hand darn hard. There is a Penn Medicine hospital in Lancaster PA so I will check that out. You hang in there and so will I.

I haven't been a fan of Penn Medicine in Philadelphia generally. I had all my initial treatment there and felt like my doctor thought that talking to me was a waste of his precious time. He could get through an appointment in 3 minutes, including a pelvic exam. (The NPs were better). And I thought he was a mindless algorithm follower. The doctor I mentioned in my note was very willing to talk to me at length and seemed willing to be more creative.
