Yes, I have experienced tightness and dryness in the past. Like @crepass says drinking more fluids helpful. Sipping warm tea. Try an extra saline ampule to see if that gets things moving. Are you using the aerobika after nebbing? Postural drainage? Are you on Brinsupri? Brinsupri has helped a lot with that inflamed feeling I used to experience from time to time when my chest felt like cement. Hope this helps.
