What do you think Carl Jung has to say about the sad and unfortunate way so many people's lives seem to evolve into as they reach their "golden years"?
He seems a harsh, the little I know about him.

@paulgrover I have been looking into his ideas about empathic people. I will elaborate later as I have to be somewhere today...

@paulgrover I do not necessarily agree with Jung regarding death, as I believe that we can't really conceive of what is after our human lives. His ideas about finding out about ourselves is pretty consistent throughout. I am currently working on figuring out all the parts of myself as I have many. Some due to survival skills coming from a dysfunctional family as well as being a recovering alcoholic/addict. I believe that starting to drink, etc., at age 12 stunted me, emotionally for sure. I look around and see people my age and they appear (my perception anyway) to be "grown ups." I still have an adolescent side that can be triggered but I am becoming aware of that part of myself.
