My Heart goes out to you ... 6 months ago I was diagnosed with Fibro-muscular Dysplasia, sounds impressive but Dr.'s haven't been able to explain what the diagnosis means that's mades sense to me!. 2 Dr.s's
have tried to "explain it in layman's terms" but, it still doesn't make sense! They say patients taking the Med.'s they've prescribed generally report having to deal with loose stools or Diarrhea, ... Not Me!
I remember dealing with constipation as early as age 5. Even with these Med.'s for Fibro-muscular Dysplasia it Persists. When I was @ 30 Hypothyroid was diagnosed.. Over the years none of the med.'s for Hypothyroid have helped with the constipation. The 2 Dr.'s I see at present find it hard to believe I'm not experiencing loose stools or diarrhea ... I tell them "it's quite the Opposite = No Change from before taking the med.'s". Many years ago one of my Dr.'s put it quite nicely, saying: "Every Patient is like a Snowflake, we NEVER Treat 2 who are alike."
You're Not Alone Lucky, I'm So Sorry that you are So Young & have to deal with this. I'll send along a little "Wish" that your "Junk in the Trunk" problem resolves itself & soon you return to what was once Normal.

@margaretfriel FMDSA found this on internet.

Imagine your blood vessels (arteries) are like stretchy tubes that carry important oxygen-filled blood everywhere in your body, like to your brain and kidneys. Fibromuscular Dysplasia (FMD) is when some of these tubes grow weirdly, making them bumpy, narrow like a string of beads, or even bulge out, which can make it harder for blood to flow, sometimes causing headaches, high blood pressure, or dizziness, but doctors can help manage it with medicine or special procedures.
Here's a simple breakdown:
What it is: A rare problem where artery walls get extra cells, making them thick and bumpy.
What it does: It can make the tubes narrow (like pinching a straw), bulge (like a balloon), or even tear.
Where it happens: Often in the neck (carotid) for the brain, or the tummy (renal) for the kidneys, but can be anywhere.
Why it's a problem: Less blood gets through, which can make you feel dizzy, give you headaches, or cause high blood pressure.
Good news: Doctors can check it with special pictures and use medicines or tiny balloons (angioplasty) to help the blood flow better, so you can still live a healthy life.
