Not sure of the timing on everything you’re Mentioning. That redness, your wife found may be that whole reason you have a problem. Could be due to swelling after treatment for an infection. Hopefully, that resolves itself in a short amount of time.

I don’t think it would have anything to do to help with scarring. Bone strengtheners makes the bone stronger they don’t repair bones.
