I had right side dull ache until I had my gall bladder out. I never had high liver enzymes until after the gall bladder out and then they went high. The doctors told me that nothing would really change with no gall bladder but then I had high liver enzymes. As usual, they told me it was because I am old and fat. I have had 2 years now of liver tests that say fatty liver, but no - not fatty liver. Lose weight- but lost 50 pounds and nothing. Then I researched on my own - cut out sugar, intermittent fasted, took TUDCA - and liver enzynes went to normal. I also discovered that if I had taken the TUDCA earlier, I might still have my gall bladder. I posted a TUDCA post in another place and literally everyone who took TUDCA who responded had reduction for liver enzymes. I also took a smallish amount (125 capsule). It can give stomach pain.
