I found the toothpaste called, Salvia. Flavia is very gentle on my gums and very effective at cleaning my teeth. Also, I use Closys a non-flavored, ultra- senstive mouthwash, which, when combined with the toothpaste, really helps make my mouth feel clean. I’ve been managing my oral Lichen Planus by using a red -light therapy and that has minimized the number of episodes of breakouts in my mouth. But I must stay away from any acidic or spicy foods which will bring back the painful mouth sores. Hope this helps?

For me, it would not work too many chemicals and I’m not sure about this light.
It’s been about five years or four since I had an episode of my oral lichen plants. I have not had any issues. I just have to make sure I use the water pick and brush my teeth with electric toothbrush. Then I got I make sure my dental floss has no flavor or color, and it is getting hard harder and hard harder to find things without dies and flavor

@sassy1 i too am using red light. Can I ask what you routine is? I just got my own ( was borrowing one that got hot) this one does not get hot. It meets the specs I read
Would be healing of the spectral bands 660nm +660nm +850nm . Does this sound right any input would be appreciated. Mine has never gone into remission, but I have seen improvement with my blisters going away( they just returned) my cheeks are always a mess! Thanks!

I have been using my red light but have not noticed much change yet. It will take time to see results.
@sassy1 hi ive just had this unfortunate disgusting olp from i dobt know what? maybe The year of Evenity isteoporosis drug that svrews up your immune system. also i just started zepbound 1 2m5 mg month then 1 5 mg dose but i had very very dry cherks that felt rougher than my normal dry mouth long before i decuded better go to dr. 4 months ago ao i do not and prau its not zepbound. i lost 7 lbs first month.i been looking at red light therapy for it? it helped my knee. question can u tell me about your journey with this disgusting mouth thing. ? what have u tried that worked or did not work? when and how u think u got it etc? im 69 female. supposed to take fosamax this week. DO NOT WANT TO TAKE IT SCARED OF ONECRYNEOSIS OF THE JAW FROM THIS. AFTER YEAR OF EVENITY AND BEEN ON IT 14 YEARS NO HOLIDAY PRIOR TO JUST 1 YEAR HOLIDAY BECAUSE HAD TO HAVE EVENITY FOR A L4L5 FUSION HAD GRADE 2 SPONDYLOLISTHESIS TERRIBLE BACK PAIN. JUST FALLING APART ONE THING AFTER ANOTHER.
