I was prescribed reclast after 10 years of Prolia. No side effects with Prolia. I had a first reclast infusion a few months ago. I hydrated as directed before and after.
The next morning, just after waking, I passed out twice. I messaged the doc on the portal, and the response was to go to my PCP or a neurologist as this isn’t a recognized side effect. I call BS because several other women reported this on a closed Facebook group (yes, I’m cautious about reading FB posts). Hasn’t happened since. I’m going to go to a neurologist for bloodwork that seems to be important. And now I know that because I have osteopenia, taking these drugs isn’t necessarily recommended. I don’t know if that was the case 10 years ago. The rebound effect of not switching to another drug after Prolia is frightening.

@jowens734 correction: I’m going to an endocrinologist, not a neurologist.

@Reclast is my first prescribed medication for my issue. When I schedule it depends on my dental surgeon and dentist. They both told me to hold off at this time.
