I was recently diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuritis. I have had 3 separate episodes with pain in my temples (one side at a time) that coincides with pain in my arm on the same side as the painful temple. I did ask the Urgent Care Doctor if the pain in my arm was caused by the Trigeminal Neuritis, and he said probably not, but it could be a referred pain. He has prescribed carBAMazepine. I am hesitant to take the prescribed medication. Tylenol seems to subside the pain when it occurs.

Has anyone else had similar symptoms and the same diagnosis?

Thank you

What is making you hesitant to take the carbamazepine at this point, debds?
