@woojr My mom kept firing the help we set up for her, she said she didn't like having someone in her home. If we could have only had her realize that the intrusive staff only increases with assisted living. Mom agreed to move to an AL facility, but then slowly deteriorated because it did not fulfill her expectations for quality of life.
One way to set up a camera(s) in the house is to set it on something low and only catch a view of the floor to about 24” high. Unless someone is falling often, just being assured that they are walking through the house may be enough. Set the camera in a place that the person is sure to pass once or more a day. Coming out of the bedroom? Going into the kitchen? Near their shoes?
It isn't always necessary to watch the entire person throughout the house. Just enough to know they are up and okay.
Then again, if there were a way to have the TV remote control text you when its turned on . . .
