Interesting that you have the loss of bladder control at night while I have it during the day if standing or sitting, but at night, I am totally continent.

Because of the problem during the day, I really can’t travel much because I have to worry about pads getting filled within a couple of hours if I’m moving around a lot. I’m having an AUS installed on April 2. That should resolve my problem completely.

If you have had radiation, then really the only option is the AUS, If you have not had radiation and don’t think you will need it in the future then proACT Can Help help you get totally continent? You need to speak to a urologist that specializes in an incontinence.

@jeffmarc Me, too.
No issues at night. Must be a gravity thing.
Daytime was awful.

Good luck with the AUS. Just be aware that it's not waterproof, like I expected.
Leakage still can occur during urgency. Not much, but still annoying.
Totally worth doing, though.

Rich, how's your continence during the day? 2 years is too long to put up with that.
They usually consider an artificial urinary sphincter or other interventions if issues continue beyond 1 year.

@jeffmarc no radiation. going to a diff urologist tomorrow afternoon.
