Hi, I've just received my blood test results. I am amazed at the results. Since October I came off the anti-inflammatory drugs. Started eating the recommend foods for CKD stage three 3b drank a lot more water , watched my carbs with diabetes 2,.
I am up to stage 2 result 60. My sugar levels have remained low. Now I just need to exercise more and hopefully I can rise my levels to stage 1.

Hi,
Great news, congratulations, now the next task is to stick to the changes. You do realise as we age our kidney function declines with it.
Cheers

Hi,
An after thought. Just don't overdo the water intake, keep the colour of your urine a light straw colour. If it is clear for a sustained period cut back the water, your over hydrating. To much or to little water can have serious consequences for the body.
Finally exhausted all chances of treating my diabetes and BP problems. Having to decide which is better, the serious side effects from medication or the dire problems from being untreated. I'm tending to go with untreated as the gravity of the consequences has not sunk in where as the side effects of being medicated are making life hell for me right now. Murphys law I guess, stuffed either way I go. I'm overwhelmed at how rapid the onset of diabetic neuropathy has been. Gone from negligable problems 6 months ago to struggling to hold myself up for any duration and no feelings from the knees down. I know what comes next but nobody can give me any idea of when it is likely to happen. It will take me a little time to work through the negative thoughts but I should be able to suck it up and deal with the new reality in time. Just another kick in the guts. Not as though I can change it now anyway.
Cheers
