Not my set of posts...but I would clean the adhesive first before the shower. I do with a loop colostomy. I also use aloe vera soap with no problems. Don't know if I would use Ivory. Traditionally it's been a wonderful soap but who knows for sure now? The laws governing the manufacturing industry are far from clear.
