I will start the same drug soon. Dr prescribed 25 mg but I’m thinking I’d rather start with 10mg. You said it hasn’t helped you yet, how long have you been taking it?

I started Brinsupri 25mg on 10/29/25. I was on it for 20 days and developed streptococcus pneumonia. (probably not related to Brinsupri??) I was off of it for 1 month and started back on December 17. I can't say it is helping as of yet. I am experiencing a prolonged cough after nebulizer/vest protocol. Dr. thinks it may be due to the increase of neutrophils without the Brinsupri (in other words a flare attack) So we shall see. As for my opinion, I am sceptical? But will continue and hope for the best.
