@cheyne
Hi, I've just received my blood test results. I am amazed at the results. Since October I came off the anti-inflammatory drugs. Started eating the recommend foods for CKD stage three 3b drank a lot more water , watched my carbs with diabetes 2,.
I am up to stage 2 result 60. My sugar levels have remained low. Now I just need to exercise more and hopefully I can rise my levels to stage 1.
@cheyne You sound like a hero to me! I'm rather new here, and have some questions if you don't mind. If you don't feel like answering, that's okay too. I wonder how you "pushed your eGFR way up." Mine just dropped from 74 in the hospital because I was infused for 10 days with liquid, to 40 within three weeks, Then it went to 49 after an hour of hydration with saline...as an experiment. What do you mean when you say "you are mindful of their needs?" When you write that "you do as you want within reason," are you talking about what you eat? How do you "come to terms with being a walking time bomb?" I'm a nervous wreck, and I'm just starting this journey. If you evaluate everything, what have you done that has been most effective, and what would you do differently? If you answer anything, thank you in advance.

@cheyne Last July I was running 3-5 miles every other day then this hit me and my life change so much there were times it would be better to passed on but with my families love and determination I've got to the point I'm able to take care of myself walk my dogs and got the attitude what ever happens I'll deal with it the best I can. Good luck to you friend. Russell
