Do GLP-1 meds help kidney function?

@klp I see my kidney Dr. in 2 weeks and I am going to ask her about taking GLP-1 med . I am watching what I eat but can not lose any weight , also looking at the weight lose benefits of the GLP-1 meds. I have been looking into all the information about GLP-1 meds that I can find and it all seems very positive.
