@xpax Do you think being able to read what you write yourself is a result of your brain already having processed the idea and words? That way, it is nothing new. Reading a book you are exposing yourself to different ideas/words/ sentence structure. It might be a big undertaking, an attention issue, a stumbling block as it were. How does this resonate with you?

Could you slow down your reading speed? Try and pick up to read what interests you at that moment? Be sure you are able to take frequent breaks. Do not add in distractions like eating, or watching television, or even laying in bed. Do any of these sound like they might be worth a try? You could be doing it all without being aware. I am guilty of that, myself!

When I read the books were devoured even well remembered.
For extremely high stresses these last 10 years could that have caused reading and hearing incomprehension?
Comprehension does seem to be inhibited with both audio and visual linguistic input. Tragic, I pray this is curable ! I do thank you for seeing this.
