@msvjv Sounds like the exact same problem I'm currently experiencing. I was experiencing sharp pain radiating into my outer thigh. I went to the Ortho Doctor who ordered an x-ray which showed arthritis to the hip and lower back. To determine exactly where the pain was coming from, he sent me for the hip injection. The hip injection is scheduled for 01/27. Curious if your pain was all the time or intermittent? Mine is very sharp when I first stand up or may occur at any moment when I walk or make sudden movements.

@levon024 pain was pretty constant and worsened with activity. The other thing I noticed pre replacement is the front of my thigh would feel really tight and a bit numb shortly after starting to walk. That resolved with the hip replacement.
