@alive Think greens, golds, reds, turquoise, some orange. But it is a patchwork of pieces of sari silks and other fabrics, so impossible to describe. The backside is a medium brown and the long hand quilting stitches are cream, which will blend beautifully with the old, crocheted lace edging I plan to use.
We have a large active arts community in far South Texas, anchored by a the 90 year old Upper Valley Art League. Membership is about an equal mix of Winter Texans and local people, with a gallery offering a new show each month as well as maker space and classes for all levels and ages. Members range in age from around 20 to the mid-80's, with some family members as young as 11 displaying very skilled work. We have painters of all kinds, photographers, sculptors, metal workers, beaders and jewelry makers, glass and woodworkers and fiber arts from traditional quilting to highly original. All only 4 miles from my tiny winter home.

@sueinmn your jacket color combination sounds beautiful. I have never used sari silks, but can imagine how much they will add to your jacket!
