I had both of my knees replaced while on Prednisone alone which was actively treating PMR. My symptoms of PMR were controlled but PMR wasn't over and gone. The orthopedic surgeon implemented additional precautions during and after surgery because I was being treated with Prednisone. Being on Prednisone wasn't ideal for knee replacement surgery but everything went well.

When I was off prednisone, I was being prepped for surgery on my lumbar spine. I was off Prednisone and only doing Actemra injections every week. Actemra is another biologic similar to Kevzara, The spine surgeon wouldn't do the spine surgery unless I could be off Actemra for a month before surgery and a month after surgery.

If you are still on Prednisone in addition to Kevzara that might not be the best circumstance for knee replacement surgery. That would be something to discuss with your surgeon.
