Thank you for your comment. I’ve been terrified to have a colostomy because of the unknown. Not sure how it works. How often you have to change it- what that entails. It has been suggested several times but like you have cried just thinking about dealing with one more thing. Thank you I will find someone who deals with colostomy and get educated! Thank you for the energy.

@walkerlsroche There are many groups on facebook that can help with any questions you may have. They are people who have walked in your shoes and are very willing to help. There are videos online that show step by step on how to change an ostomy bag. There are several ostomy companies that will send you samples. There are many options and choices to be made. Having an ostomy is a big deal, but you are not alone.
