Ok so ive been having the same issue for almost 3 years with no real proof or explanation…

Doctor prescribed Cortizone, and Ketoconazole… neither worked.

Tried every OTC cream, nothing works.
Till this day I still have the issue and its terrible. Went to a dermatologist and he swears that its a neurological issue due to a car accident i had 20years ago (im 42 now). Ive always been a big muscular guy (6’2”/260ish) but this last year im up to around 290 (my heaviest) and i am not working out like i used to so ive gained a considerable amount of fat/lost muscle. I got an MRI done and it shows the lower lumbar damage thT i already knew i had, but now its pressing closely to the spinal sack/fluid (thats how it was explained to me) so im basically getting fantom signals sent throughout the groin area if all this is true. My goal now is to lose a bunch of weight (down to 240 atleast) and work on lower back stretches and strengthening. Nothing else has worked, and aside from it being eczema, this is the only other explanation. Any of you guys weigh heavier/or had any lower back injuries?

@biggee3k Did your doctor ever take skin scapings of the scrotum and do microscopic analysis for fungal agents? Just prescribing ketoconazole may be insufficient. If there are no fungal agents present, then it is likely that your problem may be neurological.
