@briang1958 As long as you're talking about your own experience (which you are), I think what you're sharing is valuable. People newly diagnosed with PCa want to know all the possible outcomes, not just the good-news ones.

@briang1958 You never know when you might help someone on this forum. Or get what you need from someone sharing their personal experiences. I had some dark moments during Radiation and ADT and brought them to the room. The group offered support and personal experiences that helped me through. The "new me" has been my way of coping and accepting where I am in the process through each stage. I found some peace doing it that way. During each phase I have been intentional in finding a way to hang on to a little power by making decisions, finding a way to partially live some normalcy of my active life and work through the pain to find some gratitude of things around me. Doesn't mean I haven't been angry, resentful, sad, but didn't stay there. Support and meaningful conversations here and with friends and family helped get me through with my sanity. Due to my wife's stroke a couple of months ago I have more than myself to be available and present for. Being on an emotional island with this would be an emotional and spiritual death to me. I hope you can find your network and peace.
