tried alendronate pill for a few years and that dud make an improvement in scan...went off it, ate really well for bone health, always, but scans were much worse after 2 years...the point of my comment was to say... I too was scared about side effects, but in the end yoy jyst have to make a decision...they ALL have side effects..I went with Prolia twice a year, injection...not one prob and good scans
