Did they do a CT scan and see a stricture somewhere in your intestines ? Or is this because your intestines are not having peristalisis ? The treatment is different for each of these. Watch for temp ,vomiting, pain all over, and confusion,dizziness and no urine. If that happens go to ER .The least painful way I get my bowels to work is prune juice.
