A pain specialist doctor at a prestigious University pain clinic. My dosing kept going up.p over to you. Because my pain would go away and I wouldn’t approve. I had had all kinds of procedures done to see if those procedures would help. Not one did. One procedure actually permanently damaged, my trigeminal nerve in my face, so the right side is now permanently numb on the outside (lake when you come home from the dentist) but totally on fire on the inside of my mouth and half of my tongue, my lips, half of my chin. Just half on my face where the nerve is. There was a 98% chance that the procedure would work and take my pain away. 😭 I fell into the 2% that not only didn’t work but permanently damaged my face another whole time I’m still taking gabapentin and my surgeon said we need to start weaning you off that drug. and that’s when he started whining me and about six months after that surgical procedure that didn’t work I had my first MVD and that did work for eight months. I was pain-free and it was glorious 🙂
