@lane73 Ha, ha!! No, I have never been on Prolia but I have been on Fosamax for a couple of years and Evista for a couple of years. When I had that dental work done it was about 10 years ago and all of it went on for at least two years. I was on the osteoporosis medicines a couple years before needing the dental work. Now I am not on anything but supplements, 12 to 15 a day and an improved diet and have physical pain issues so it's tricky to get the proper amount of exercise in. The supplements seem to be stabilizing my numbers which are severe in the negative 4's in my spine but negative 3's in my hip. It sounds terrible (according to the various doctors I have visited about this) but I am grateful that I am actually doing okay. The supplements are such a blessing to me, I'm improving my numbers (hopefully!!!) by adding "Annatrol" to my regime, seeing a nutritionist next week, and joining an exercise class in a few months. The commenter on here didn't mention toothpaste but a super effective mouthwash, I believe, that is supposed to help with gum problems. Best wishes to you!
