While I've not had a Whipple, I have had three surgeries of the upper digestive tract. I also had a difficult time eating and maintaining my weight. I had a few sessions with a registered dietitian to get some new tips on how to eat and maintain my weight. The most important thing I learned was to eat small, frequent meals, low in fat. Were you given any dietary instructions after your surgery?

No strength to hold the bowl to eat. My Dr said that I had pancreatic enzyme insufficiency PEI. I’m taking Creon start 1 capsule at the beginning of every meal, now I’m taking 2 and 15min take another 2. Total 16 cap per day. Diarrhea is improved but can’t keep body weight. I’m kind of depressed because I can’t enjoy 1 meal without thinking of taking med
