Scheduled to begin Lupron injections 01/08/26 then wait approx 2 months to begin 25 treatments of RT, then continue with ADT. Does anyone have a preference to other than Lupron? Orgovyx pills? < y plan is to do the short term rather than the long term. I prefer quality of life to the adverse side effects.
Thankful for this group

@csimadera1 I can only speak for myself. I was put on Orgovyx for 6 months and really did quite well. SE’s were there, but totally bearable and not quality of life threatening; a little fatigue, brief warm flashes, that’s it.
My T recovery was very rapid as well - going even higher than baseline before tx.
Others on Lupron have reported more pronounced SE’s, depression and crippling fatigue; as well as a very slow rise in T after stopping Lupron.
Of course, some men did quite well but on this forum, at least, the majority have seemed to be much more impacted by Lupron. I would lobby for Orgovyx if you ( and your ins co) have a say in the matter and can afford the co-pays - it’s not cheap!
