You sound exactly like me. They keep saying that it is dry skin. But after multiple kinds of lotion, both off the shelf and prescription, nothing works. It seems to come and go on different parts of my body. I have found by recording it, that it always starts with a small lump under the skin. Who knows what is causing that, and then I break out all around it. After scratching until I bled, I did find something that seemed to help. Good old fashion Vaseline. it seems like it kills whatever causes the itch. Put it on your skin as soon as you start to itch. Good luck.

@armywac I have PN from chemo. Mostly in my feet but a little in my finger tips. It exploded in my feet back in November that caused the oncologist to end my weekly chemo infusions 3 weeks early. I've lost 2 toe nails. Recently I developed an itchy rash on my feet that would not quit. My triage nurse prescribed triamcinolone 0.1% last week. The only thing that stopped the itching was a cool foot bath with Epsom salt and white vinegar. Nighttime was the worst. I saw my dermatologist yesterday who says the rash and itching is a sign of healing. Perhaps my nerves are starting to heal from the neuropathy. She too prescribed the triamcinolone but to cover it with Aquafor, wrap with plastic wrap 2x a day for about an hour. I did the plastic wrap one better and bought a box of disposable plastic foot covers. I choose to believe she's correct and the itching is a sign that I'm starting to heal from the chemo.
