I have trigeminal neuralgia. I got up to 5200mg of gabapentin. It was the worst drug I’ve ever taken. It took a year to wean off. Even when I started for nerve pain the side effects were so intense but I was avoiding my last effort: neurosurgery. Not only did I not avoid it I had it 6 times. I’m thrilled for people it word for. It was the worst prescription I’ve ever been on.

@iri5200 mg. What doctor would prescribe this huge dose. I take 300mg twice a day for nerve pain in my feet. I have been taking it for 3 years. Works great.
