Hey guys, I know it's been awhile since I've posted here, but wanted to revive the discussion a bit. Things were "good" (stable) for awhile, but have been having increase in symptoms despite medication for months now and not sure why. It really strikes me as odd because I quit my stressful job at the end of August and I am not active due to other conditions. I tried walking for awhile, but had to keep stopping because of being short of breath and really lightheaded, etc. The only thing that changed over the last year was my cardiologist switched me from regular Metoprolol to the XL version (still at 25mg tho). Otherwise, I've noticed more and more "black" moments and have to move really slow, or else it feels like I'm going to pass out. My bp and heart rate were actually slow for a time (like around 50bpm and ~90/60; I realize beta blockers lower everything, but this is too low for my "normal"). Now, my resting heart rate is really high again (~125) and the palpitations are really strong/heavy. I don't see my cardiologist until May ... not sure what's going on. Nothing has changed in my life (that I'm aware of) that would cause it to ebb 'n' flow like this. And, I eat pretty cleanly (when I can). Any suggestions or thoughts? I've done my research, but there's always new information as the learning curve keeps growing. Thanks y'all.
