I really enjoyed reading your Spotlight! I especially liked, "I’m also trying to find better ways to deal with setbacks and keep my drive to beat the odds — to smile and mean it." This thought is encouraging to me and others. Dealing well with setbacks is essential when you are dealing with a chronic health issue.

By the way, I agree with your assessment of cats; they do have a way of knowing whether a person is good or not!
