A Gleason score of 1.77 3 months after surgery means that there’s still something producing PSA in your body. It is expected that the PSA will be undetectable at three months < .1. Having it that high means, you probably have a metastasis somewhere in your body. I am puzzled as to why your doctor is not doing something right away.

When the PSA hits .2 they normally want to do salvage radiation. You are way beyond that point.

With a PSA over 1 you should be getting a PSMA pet test immediately. That can find where the PSA is being produced and possibly zap it. I am just wondering why your doctor is letting this go, You need to find a center of excellence to treat you, You are not getting the proper treatment for somebody in situation.

You need to contact the doctor and if they can’t do something, you want to ask for a radiation oncologist or a genito urinary oncologist Who can direct your treatment. GU Oncologist specialize in prostate cancer unlike many medical oncologist.

Don’t delay you need to get this resolved right away. You don’t want to wait until February you should’ve already had that PET scan.

The doctor told me that the next treatment is radiation and it can be done
only after six months of surgery.
