I'm posting here a Mayo Clinic article about magnesium glysinate that may be of interest to you, @maxieg:

- Magnesium glycinate: Is this supplement helpful for you? https://mcpress.mayoclinic.org/nutrition-fitness/magnesium-glycinate-is-this-supplement-helpful-for-you/

Tagging @covidstinks2023 @chell926, as they have mentioned magnesium glysinate and may know if it has been helpful to them or anyone they know with migraines.

@lisalucier
Thank you so much for the Mayo article. And, for the two mayo connect tags.
Really appreciate your follow up for me.

@lisalucier I used to wake up most mornings with a headache which advanced to a migraine. I've been taking magnesium glycinate before bed time for several years and morning headaches have been reduced. I weigh 145 lbs. and take 3 capsules (recommended dose is 4 capsules) my bowels were to loose with 4 capsules. Also I saw a nutritionist, as well as neurologist for migraines. Nutritionist suggested I cut back on sugary foods and foods that cause inflammation, which was a game changer and Neurologist prescribed Relpax as a rescue medication. I was averaging 15 migraines monthly until I changed my diet.
