When did they discuss a transplant. I was just diagnosed with end stage liver disease - stage 4 cirrhosis in early Nov. 2025. I'm working on losing g weight and getting daily exercise. They also put me on a new med called Rezdiffra. They haven't said anything about a transplant and I don't see the specialist again until late May

@carroljeffries we started talking about transplant in early 2022. My Meld score got as high as 25. The way they calculate Meld score has changed so don’t use my number as a reference point. Dr Harnos is my saving angle. She worked hard to keep me on the list and ultimately to get me a new liver. I was 68 at the time of transplant and was in fair condition other wise. From my first biopsy it was 4 years before I made the list and then 11 months from then to getting a liver. We moved to Jax August 2023 to be closer to Mayo. It worked, we stayed until my 4 month checkup. Stay positive, it will happen!
