Does one ever recover from overactive bladder?

I have been taking Betmiga or generics for several years and seem to be well now. Should I continue with this medication? It is very expensive

It is a filler(not sure what the material is) that is injected into the urethra walls to help close the opening (make it smaller) and make it possible to control the flow of urine.

@mawre, I believe the product used on me was called Bulkamid (sp?) but there may be other similar products.
