Repatha, side effects and what comes next?

@ibchispas what you are seeing here, like most other chat boards, are from those people with problems or reactions to the med. What we're not seeing are from those where Repatha or another drug has been successful and without side effects.
I'm also a 70 year old male and just into year 3 with Repatha (along with 20+ years of a statin). No side effects and it's lowered my LDL from 109 down to 17.
I'm watching other's reactions to know what I might see if something shows up later, but so far, all is good.

@agb thank you! Statins have caused my liver enzymes to rise and my next option is repatha. You have made me feel like I’m not doomed for suffering from this drug or I have a chance. Thank you. I wish more would post that have had good results.
@agb Thank you for your support and share. I've been healthy for 67 years and then in March of 2025 BOOM! What I described above occurred and I had to admit that I was mortal afterall 😉
I then realized it wasn't one thing that brought it on, but many years building up slowly and refusal to stop vaping and eat correctly. I guess God decided I needed a wake up call to make a change.
Since we're supposed to be discussing Repatha, I have one question...has anyone experienced weight gain on Repatha or is my keto diet broken. I get into ketosis moderately and seem to be gaining weight instead of losing. HELP please 🙏

@agb same here.
My husband takes his injections now for 2 years, no side effects but you hear a lot of late term side effects, so we try to get rid of Repatha as soon as we can.
