My TRIMIX experience
I've been using Trimix for about six months with outstanding results. It did take some experimentation to figure out the best way to make it work for me. With hopes that it may help others, here's what I discovered using this medication: (BTW, I'm 71, one year post SBRT and 4 months Orgovyx)
- I have had to use the oral antidote several times (works well) in the early dose experimentation days for super hard erections lasting more than three hours (4tablets of 30 mg pseudoephedrine. Don't make the mistake of buying the extended release pseudoephedrine tabs). Make sure you have this on hand before you start this medication!
- I had to find the sweet spot for the injection site and depth. For me turns out to be the 10 and 2 o'clock position with the 1/2" needle almost fully inserted around mid-shaft.
- Shelf life on the Trimix in the refrigerator is limited. I can definitely see a difference in the results at the 3-4 week period. For me, it became pretty useless after 4 weeks, even at a higher dose. To help extend the life, I now fill all syringes with the needed dose as soon as I get the medication and immediately place all syringes into the freezer until needed. Now, I take a syringe out about 30 min before needed and it's ready to go. This is working well and my pharmacist said this should extend the shelf-life to 6 months or more.
- After injecting, massage the entire penis and base to help distribute the medication throughout the muscle structure. This will help significantly.
- Stand for the first 5-10 minutes after injection as gravity aids in the blood flow into the penis.
This medication has been a lifesaver for me. I was afraid I'd never see a useful erection again. Now, I'm back to 18 in that regard-- actually better than 18 as my erection stays hard even after an orgasm! Best of luck guys! Be aware that your partner may hide your medication if you use it to often. (-:

Thanks for the positive comments, Im hoping this will not be needed long term, if that’s the case i will be looking into an implant. My urologist thinks this may speed my healing to functioning naturally. All I can do is keep moving forward

1 Reaction@brucemobile I have been using it for about two months now. The first couple of weeks take some getting used to. At the beginning, my wife gave me the shot because the idea of putting a needle into your penis is tough to process. After a week I took over and it was not bad at all.
I know they say to do a quick jab, but I will share what works for me. I use my ED pump first so I have a girth and firmness to work with. I find my spot, set the needle, and ease it in slowly until that first pinch. I don't rush it. Once you get past the first pinch, it really is not a big deal.
I do not press the plunger until the needle is all the way in. I press the medication in slowly and pull the needle out slowly. This has worked great for me. No pain and no burning.
The only problem I had early on was with the starting dose. I was getting three hour erections and that did hurt. Now my erection lasts less than an hour which is perfect.
Everyone reacts a little differently, so give yourself some time. For me, it has been a huge improvement compared to using a VED for sex. I will be using Trimix from here on out.

My first dose was .1ml,then.2ml,I'm gonna try .3 see how that works no results yet
3 mls is a lot, are you sure it is not 3 units ?
"OMG"...I can't even imagine inserting needle into my penis...even if it is a 24 or 26 gauge thin-bore needle. A needle is a needle, and you say "almost all the way in." That literally just made me shake with chills as to the idea. You're a braver man that I am, and I was around needles all of my professional life in health care.
@chipe - give your self a hard pinch for a few seconds. That's it. One trick I use is to put an ice cube on the injection spot for a minute
. Takes away some of sting.

1 Reaction@tjv1156 Happy for those of you who are getting positive results from injections , I’ve tried various doses and vaccines types of variations they make with little to poor results. Tried Bimix as well, pumps and Viagra with only a 50% reaction to just barely get penetration but no pleasure or chance of an orgasm. It’s been 18 months now with sex which frustrates me daily . I’ve asked this question before but would appreciate anyone who has had an implant, were you able to have any orgasms before the implant? If the answer is no could you after implant?. I’m fighting with this decision and don’t want more surgery if I may not be able to reach an orgasm. Any comments will be appreciated.
