I have feeling of lightheaded all day, getting worse, NOT woozy, terrible balance, when I stand not sitting. I do sit to stand exercises (25) reps, leg strengthening exercises, climb 4 flights of steps x daily, no hypertension, clear carotid arteries, have MCI with word finding, no memory problems. Guess there is no treatment for this, just grin and bear it until stroke. I am presenting this info to my doctor next week. Up to finding this, I have been inadequate at description of symptoms.

@judyb200 could you have an ear problem?

@judyb200 It sounds like an 'orthostatic' vascular condition. There is such a thing as POTS, a type of arrhythmia that happens when people stand, but it's a tachyarrhythmia which I do not suppose is the case for you. Instead, you have a drop in blood pressure, maybe due to your heart slowing too much on standing, or just prior to.

This is just an uneducated guess from someone with no medical training.
