I am thankful to have found this site. I had long covid from July - December of 2025. The congestion and mucus flow was so bad the I got only 2-3 hours of sleep per night, and the same mucus flow all day. I went to the doctor 4 times and tried many things with no success. Then I found this web site. I gleaned the most successful remedies that did not seem too extreme and discussed them with my doctor. I began drinking a cup of Cardamon/Cinnamon/pepper tea, from "The Republic of Tea" company each evening and morning. I also took a 10MG tablet of Amitriptylin and used a NeilMed sinus rinse bottle with NeilMed Sinus Rinse before bed each night. Within 4 days I was sleeping 8 hours per night with very little sinus problem. That was at least 4 weeks ago and I am still doing fine. Hope this helps some of you. Could be a coincidence but I don't think it could hurt.

@tja1490: I have the same thing. But, I got it after a year of coughing from Whooping Cough, (since Oct 24 to Nov 25) then continued respiratory issues, one after the other. Since November 2025, the coughing has stopped rn but I'm left with awful sinus drainage, day and night. With sinus pain. I also couldn't sleep but recently found a bedtime routine of Flonase, then Azalastine nose sprays, A Benadryl clear antihistamine and then some mucinex (heart safe). I have to chew sugar free Cinnamon gum at all times to keep my throat clear. (My teeth hurt from chewing so much!)
I use Halls menthol-lyptus cough drops. I also use Neil Med nasal rinses. I've never had any illnesses in my life & have all vaccines. During the past 14 months, eight rounds of antibiotics. Failed to mention I had obvious signs of asthma and allergies. I used a rescue inhaler and Advair twice a day. I don't believe this has bothered my lungs... (I never felt anything to cough up) I see a pulmonologist this week. I saw a horrible ENT who said my sinuses were fine (CT Scan). No one ever tested me for the pertussis (Whooping Cough) nor covid. I believe I had covid resulting in all the issues I'm left with. For some reason, cinnamon in all teas, chews and drops seem to help. I'm going to order your recommendation of The Republic of Tea: Cardomin, Cinnamon, Pepper Tea. Thank you.
