@rolanddubree , You mentioned that, "PSA tests in later years were always 1 or less." What was your lowest PSA, the nadir? Was it < or = 0.01?

You asked, "Does a PSA only reveal Prostate Cancer or can it reveal Cancer that might have moved to another body location thru my blood system?" My answer: I read somewhere that if PSA has risen 2 points above nadir (e.g., from 0.01 to 2.01), then there is a possibility of recurrence, but needs further tests to confirm. If confirmed, "it can be radiated" as Jeff commented.

That two points above the minimum applies to radiation treatment. This person had surgery. In that case anything from .2 and above Is considered a reoccurrence and they would do salvage radiation.

The fact that his PSA never hit anything higher than one is a little strange, But it might be is thinking about .1.
