@lindamaegirl -2.6 is barely osteoporosis. You could probably pay attention to nutrition and the proper weight-bearing exercise to avoid meds. I wouldn't do nothing at all, though, because it can get worse.

@njx58 lifting weights - heavy (whatever that is for you) does give great benefit. The endocrinologist I see says wearing a weight vest 20 minutes, three times a week, is also a good thing to do. I believe my vest is 7 or so pounds. He also suggest i take 2 citri-cal minis a day, which I take at night with vitamin D.

Weight lifting improved my bone density - Evenity injections once a month for a year put my Dexo results to osteopenia, except right hip which is now borderline osteoporosis. I had no side effects from the Evenity. Best of luck
