Hi Vinnie, forgive me is PRRT the same as Lutathera?? I was reading about an NIH clinical study for benign tumors that evidently shrinks them in order to have interventional surgery. I have a parapharangeal ganglioma at the skull base since 2012, causing all kinds of problems this year, then all of a sudden a carotid body tumor pops up, now I have another strange lump that I’m suspicious it may be a paraganglioma but n a lymph node or submandibular gland. My oncologist at Mayo treated the carotid body tumor, it grew 1.5 cms, I’m worried it’s going to continue, but surgery could halt the increase in symptoms it’s just risky and I don’t know if anyone that had my particular messed up tumors and don’t know anyone that had had surgery. I don’t think I can do radiation or more of it for at least 6 months I think I read, I finished in October. Have you found anyone that has had surgery or anything else to help? Thank you and bless you and I hope your treatment does what it’s supposed to do for you!🙏🌈✨

@taracronwall If I'm quoting correctly I believe that Lutathera is a form of PRRT, that is what I had. It is a IV radiation treatment. I personally don't know anyone that has had surgery for removing the tumors, but I've read from many participants on this site who have..Have a blessed day..
