Has anyone tried bee venom topical cream (melittin & apitoxin)?

I read this recently from some reputable resources (NIH,etc.) that "..........recent scientific research, particularly using bee venom (apitoxin) and its main component melittin, shows significant promise for controlling and relieving neuropathic pain, including chemotherapy-induced neuropathy, by reducing neuroinflammation and improving nerve function, with apamin also studied for its neuroprotective effects".

Wondering if anyone has used this type of cream and was it useful to reduce pain?
