Yes I had the same situation. I elected to have the six BCG instillations and had a clean cystoscopic evaluation afterwards. Bladder tumors have a high rate of reoccurrence and I thought I would take every opportunity to lower the chances of reoccurrence. The data on BCG immunotherapy is very convincing and I didn’t see a good reason for not going forward. The instillation is not a wonderful experience and there are short term side effects but the benefits outweighed the inconvenience, I thought.
